Drive SystemsDrive Systems
Drive systems have gained importance in various fields: drive
systems put very high demands on the line filters - particularly
in the lower range of insertion loss. There is a wide range
of standard and client-specific products.
Specially adjusted line filters have been developed for well-known
manufacturers of variable-frequency inverters. This series is
being used by such manufacturers as Omron-Yaskawa, Mitsubishi,
LG, Control Techniques, Fuji, ABB, Hitachi and Eurotherm.
The line filters meet both the mechanical and electronical requirements
of these respective manufacturers.
There are various custom-made housing designs available, as
well as “footprint line filters” and “book type”
versions.
These line filters are designed for different motor cable lengths
and switch frequencies.
Lift Construction
For lifts, special EMC line filters have been developed in accordance
with the current EN 12015 norms.a
Medicine
For medical application, filter series have been developed in
agreement with the following norms:
- EN 55011 (ISM: Industrial, Scientific and Medical Equipment)
- EN 61326 (Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control
and Laboratory)
Some key words to relevant criteria:
- Low arrestor discharge current
- High insulation to earth
- IEC-connector socket with integrated line filter in metal
casing, with 1 or 2 fuses, mains switch, line voltage selector,
etc.
